In 1928 California, the people have just lost their homes to a giant flood caused by the breaking of the St Francis Dam! In order to raise funds for rebuilding their neighbourhood, they host a talent show voted by YOU!!! There will be music and a lot of terrible accents.

The tragedy of the St Francis Dam was one of the worse civil engineering accidents of 20th century American history. In the effort to make better waterways in the ever growing California, William Mulholland, an Irish immigrant, designed the dam in an effort to bring more water to the people. At 11:57pm on March 12th 1928 the dam broke killing at least 431 people, a large proportion being Mexican immigrants who were manual labourers. After the final remnants of the dam were destroyed, the tragedy fell into memory and the people lost just a part of the creation of a bigger California.
